Our announcement....

The St. Pauli Athen Klub has been the team’s fan club since 2007.  After 4 years of existence, and after a certain “crisis” period these past few months, we feel we ought to clear the air, set some things straight and make a public update of what’s happening in the club right now.

Our main tool for communicating to you and with you about all the news and issues of the team, was this here website. It was ein bisschen kaput for a while, and this was mainly due to our own dysfunction. But, our webpage ist up und laufen (up and running) again at the known address www.fcstpauli.gr. For any further questions or information, feel free to get in touch with us at info [at] fcstpauli [dot] gr

We’ll be here to inform all St. Pauli fans about the date and time of matches, to book trips to Germany with the club, including airplane tickets and tickets to the matches, and of course, to provide any information we can on the lovely city of Hamburg.

At the start of the year, the club was unfortunately deemed “homeless”. Due to this minor detail, we no longer meet at the known café in Exarhia, where we used to watch the games via the satellite connection we managed to install there.

For the time being (and until we find a more permanent solution to the problem!), we get in touch and make our arrangements each time, depending on what day the match is, what channel is showing it, what time etc. So, until we find ourselves a new home, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out where we’ll all be watching our beloved team next time!

Some of us, as well as some of our South End Scum pals, will travel to Hamburg at the end of the month to see the game with Dynamo Dresden. It will be our first dynamic, en mass trip to Millerntor for the season, so if you are also going and want to get in touch, please do.

Problems may be the main menu for everyone lately, and we may have lost touch with many of our club friends, both from Athens and the rest of Greece, but the Athen Klub gang is ever growing on the streets, at demos and concerts, local tribunes and city squares.
